(17,562 posts)26. As a Christian, I am very proud of Talarico's response.
I also feel that it is very dangerous for that pastor to tempt God by asking that someone die. (I always clarify on DU that I'm not here to convert anyone. I am a Christian, and I'm fine if you are, or you are not. Each person must walk their own path where religion is concerned. My beliefs are no more and no less than anyone else's).
God might just decide he needs one less "pastor" - and I use that term loosely to apply to the hate-filled person spewing crap in the name of God.
