I can see this easily escalating between Fetterman and Platner. Platner had said previously that Fetterman was the bane of his existence bc he was so frequently asked about their similarities, the rough and tough working class champions. Interestingly, Platner mentioned one difference was that if he were to win Maine's senate seat, he would never be dressed in anything less than a suit and tie.

Out of respect for the institution.

Wonder if that set Fetterman off? Or is Fetterman deliberately trying to bait Platner for his 'friends' on the other side of the aisle? Reportedly, Big John has become very chummy with Dave McCormick.

Hummmm.

Platner needs to be careful. There's definitely a target on his back.
