The wind is awful and makes it very difficult to navigate. Since my signs are very large and heavy I get a real work-out. Afterwards I'm pooped out for 24 hours. My signs have a 3/4 inch dowel and it helps a lot. Since it's round and smooth so I can turn it around in a different direction momentarily when the wind hits it and it turns into a sail like on a boat.
