But having worked with stunt actors and seen torn ACLs, I cant believe she was even trying. Brave of course, but predictable?
Im not an orthopod or kinesiologist, but the ACL bears much of the stress from bent knees like in downhill skiing. Unless there was a foolproof brace, a knee like that can rupture on the very first extreme load. I hope she was generously compensated for this exhibition, the pain and risk are great.
Again, good vibes and prayers for recovery. But someone needs to say this about fame and reality-TV risks.
