TODAY: Europe Replaces ENTIRE American Software Stack - Google OUT, Microsoft OUT June 9 - House of El [View all]

Europe’s software stack is no longer assumed to be American. This morning, the European Parliament replaced Google with Qwant and five days from now, Europe releases a sovereign alternative to Microsoft Office.

🇪🇺 The European Parliament has made Qwant the default search engine across its internal systems.
🔎 Qwant is French, privacy-focused, and operates outside American legal jurisdiction.
🖥️ EuroOffice launches June 9 as a European open-source alternative to Microsoft 365.
☁️ The EU’s Tech Sovereignty Package is creating the legal framework to move sensitive government data away from American cloud providers.
🇫🇷 France is migrating public institutions from Windows to Linux and replacing Teams, Zoom, and WebEx with sovereign alternatives.
🇳🇱 The Microsoft-Dutch civil servant leak showed exactly why European institutions are moving so quickly.
🌍 The deeper pattern is clear: Europe is rebuilding the digital tools of government from search to cloud to office software.
