About gfarber

I am an old retired guy with no background in the literary world. Occasionally I take a stab at creating limericks based on whatever happens to catch my attention, and some of them are posted on DU. Long before there was ChatGPT, Gemini, or Copilot there were other tools to enhance creativity. That is how I view AI, as a tool. It already exists, so I think we may as well learn to use it. I do 3D modeling, mostly architectural stuff and structural steel, but I also create STL files for people who have 3D printers. None of the amazing things that I do would be possible without the use of a computer more powerful than the one NASA used to put the first men on the moon, and some incredible software. I didn't make those tools, but I learned to use them, and I am glad that I did. My limericks would not exist without the aid of AI. The main reason I am so prolific is because it is easy. I make no apology for using powerful tools, but if you don't like it you can look away.
